Morning
6:10Wake, kiss LA on the forehead
6:12Fill water bottle, drink from it
6:15Feed cats, fill their water
6:25Scoop litter
6:30Cold shower, one minute
6:32Dry off, get dressed
6:38Pack the clothes for after. You do not come home again.
6:45Vape now. Not before.
6:50Leave for the gym, 25 minutes
7:15Workout, one hour
8:15Change and drive to Blaze's, 30 minutes end to end
8:45At Blaze's, 199 Echo Ridge. Four tabs open before you sit down.

Wake is not a choice, it is the answer to an equation. 8:45 at Blaze's, minus 30 to change and drive, minus the hour lifting, minus 25 to the gym, minus 40 of routine. That is 6:10. Thursday shifted forward half an hour, nothing else about the morning changes.

Four tabs before you sit

Every lane on the board is 60 minutes of clock and 30 of you. The clock is free and the 30 is not, so the only thing that matters at 8:45 is that nothing is idle. Two MSF-08 groups are unblocked right now and the widget build needs no input at all.

Blaze costs 30 minutes today, cumulative. No sit-down, no laptop-shut hour. It is 3 minutes here and 5 there across six and a quarter hours, and ten of those thirty are in this block. That is why the bar reads 80 and not 90.

Both masters at once

The densest two hours of the day. Four group reviews land in it and every one of them unblocks something, so none can be traded for the widget tab sitting finished in the corner.

B before C, both masters. MSF-08 C waits on MSF-08 B. MSF-02 D and E wait on MSF-02 B. In both lanes C is the group that unblocks nothing, so reviewing it first buys an hour of idle clock.

Close both masters before you leave

Running in parallel means the rulings land in fragment files instead of straight into the decisions document. The folds are the price of the waves, and they get paid here, at Blaze's, not tonight.

F closed by 2:45 or the whole buffer goes. The day balances at 545 against 555, which is ten minutes of slack across fourteen hours. A group that misses this block does not slip an hour, it slips into the evening, and F alone is 30 minutes against a 10 minute cushion.
3:00Drive home, 30 minutes. Both masters are closed, so nothing is generating and nothing needs to be.

The five tab kick

3:30Kick the MSF-01 spec
3:30Kick the MSF-06 spec
3:30Kick the MSF-03 initial plan session
3:30Kick the MSF-04 initial plan session
3:30Kick the For Operators image

Five kicks the moment you are through the door, before anything else is opened. Every one of them needs 45 to 60 minutes of clock, and you are driving from 4:15 to 5:15. Kicked now, all five are finished and waiting when you sit back down. Kicked at 5:15 instead, the first hour of the evening is dead air in the block that can least afford it.

Forty five minutes at home

Five lanes running and not one of them wants you yet. The whole block belongs to the widget work, which is the only thing on the board that was never blocked by anything and has been sitting finished since 9:30.

4:15Drive LA to work and back, home 5:15. Five lanes generating the whole way.

The last stretch

MSF-01 spec 45, MSF-06 spec 30, the two plan sessions 40, widgets onto the site 10 left, For Operators image 30. That is 155 minutes in a 165 minute block. All five landed while you were driving, so nothing is generating from here and every minute is yours.

Ten minutes is the entire buffer for the day. Every block before this one is exactly full, so nothing here can be pushed upstream and nothing upstream can be pushed here. If you are behind at 7:30, cut from the bottom of the list below on purpose. Do not let 7:55 choose.
If it goes sideways, cut from the bottom
  1. For Operators image. 30 minutes. Nothing waits on it and nothing breaks without it. Third day running that website work sits at the bottom of the list, which is worth noticing.
  2. Widgets onto the site. The last 10 minutes. Cheaper to cut, worse to cut: it leaves a widget built and not live, which is the one outcome that banks nothing.
  3. MSF-04 plan session. 20 minutes. Two identical sessions, and MSF-03 alone proves the group cut works on a master with no groups yet. Last to go, because it is the only cut that touches the system.

Nothing is pre-cut. The day closes at 545 of 555 with everything on it, which is the first day this week that does. The list above is for slippage, not for a debt you are already carrying.

No MSF-03 or MSF-04 groups run today. The plan sessions produce the group lists and that is the whole of it. One group is 30 minutes of you and the day has 10, so a group started tonight is a group finished tomorrow with the 8:00 cutoff gone.
