One master closed and half of a second, before noon. Two budgets, and only one is scarce: a master's 240 minutes of clock is 90 of you and 150 of dead air, and the dead air overlaps every other lane, so MSF-03 and MSF-04 running side by side cost 180 active and not 480 of anything. What is left is 260 active against 325 available. You finish about 7:00.

Four tabs before you sit

Thirty minutes in the gym parking lot and three hours at Starbucks. A whole master decided and folded, half of a second one, and the spec method defined, all before you got to Blase's.

Writing the specs is off today, and not because of time. Reading MSF-01 and MSF-06 to define the method showed that decision groups in other masters have to close before either spec can be written. The method is done and the specs are blocked, so the rest of the day is decisions.

You arrive with four lanes running and nothing to kick, which has not happened once today. D and E have 35 minutes of clock and 15 of you left each. F is blocked by B, D and E, and B is long done, so D and E are the gate.

F kicked by 1:40. A group is 60 minutes of generation before it wants you at all. Kicked at 1:40 it lands at 2:40 and you review most of it here. Kicked at 2:30 it lands at 3:30, which is survivable, and kicked at 3:00 it does not exist until 4:00 and MSF-02 closes tomorrow instead of tonight.
Blase costs 30 minutes today, cumulative. No sit-down. That is why the bar reads 115 against 145 minutes of wall clock.

The last stretch

MSF-02 fold 20, and the last 80 of MSF-03 and MSF-04 group work. 100 minutes in a 165 minute block, which puts you done around 7:00 with 65 minutes of room you have not needed since this morning.

Last wave kicked by 6:30. Kicked at 6:30 it lands at 7:30 and you have 30 minutes to review it. Kicked at 7:00 it lands at 8:00 and belongs to tomorrow. The 65 minutes of slack cannot buy back a wave kicked too late, so the spare time is for reviewing, never for waiting.
If both masters close before 7:00. Kicking the next master's plan session is five minutes of you and it generates overnight. That is the cheapest hour tomorrow will ever get.
If it goes sideways, cut from the bottom
  1. MSF-04's last group wave. MSF-03 closing on its own still proves the whole loop end to end on a master that had no groups at breakfast.
  2. The MSF-02 fold. 20 minutes, and the worst cut on the list. All six rulings exist and only the merge is missing, so cutting it leaves the master decided and not closed.

Already cut: the widget placement and the For Operators image, third day at the bottom of this list and today they came off. The MSF-01 and MSF-06 specs are not cut, they are blocked: the method exists, the decisions they depend on do not.
